DESCRIPTION:

 

The Qualification will provide the learner with the knowledge and skills to work in a water and wastewater reticulation services department. The competencies developed through this qualification will enable the learner to attend to the maintenance, operation and construction of water and wastewater reticulation systems. The core and elective sections of this qualification accommodates for learners to specialise in water and/or wastewater reticulation services.

Qualifying learners are able to:

• Communicate in a water and wastewater context.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the relevant legislative requirements in a water and wastewater context.
• Be able to partake in the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater reticulation systems.
• Be able to partake in the construction of water and wastewater reticulation systems.

LEVEL:

NQF Level 3

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12
• Mathematical literacy, Computer and Life Sciences.
